U.S. Helicopters, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Chief Pilot.

Hours:  Full-time, primarily daytime operations, (8am-5pm) Monday thru Friday. Hours may vary based upon the needs of the operation. 25% travel required.

Salary:  Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.  Successful candidates will be required to pass DOT pre-offer drug tests.  Relocation assistance may be offered.

Description:  The primary responsibility of this position will be to assist the Chief Pilot in supervising and managing base pilots, maintaining records to include daily operations, duty logs, Medical certificates, check rides along with uploading records into the company’s software program.  In addition this position will also alternate as the on-call management pilot after office hours, on weekends and holidays, as assigned.  Manage vacation schedules and leaves of absence for all base pilots throughout the U.S.  Participate in the base management staff meetings and act as a liaison between the Flight department and other departments, as directed by the Chief Pilot or General Manager.  Assist in the pursuit of charter business, to include the quoting and scheduling of charters and/or camera rentals.  Other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or General Manager.

Minimum qualifications required:
• Meets FAR 119.71(d) qualifications
• Pilot’s Commercial Certificate and current Medical Certificate, CFI helpful.
• Five years experience in Part 135, Part 91 helicopter operations management.
• Bell 206/407 and/or AS350 series helicopter experience.  Minimum total hours 2000, 500 Turbine.
• Positive, upbeat personality and a willingness to work within the guidelines of the company.
• Applicant must be able to follow direction and work harmoniously in a highly-paced, structured environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident at time of application.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Requires the ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, scheduled days off, and on-call during busy periods.  Some travel required.

Factory Schools: Bell, American Eurocopter, preferred.
