Principle Responsibilities:
1.Manage and maintain complete control over the operation of the aircraft.
2.Responsible for the safety of passengers, crew, aircraft and cargo.
3.Comply with flight times, service and assignments.
4.Preflight planning and operation of the flight in accordance with regulations and specifications.
5.Ensure compliance and monitoring checklist.
6.Verify that conditions are optimal for flying airworthy.
7.Maintain checkups, medical certificate, certificate of lack of background, criminal record, and passport and submit copies of these documents no later than 8 days before expiration dates.
8.Validate airport, weather and place to ensure flight safety before beginning a flight.
9.Monitor the completion of clamping the main rotor, when necessary.
10.Place the tail rotor of his helicopter out of the passed, boarding passengers.
11.Appropriate use of communication radios according to the operating instructions and report its operation at least every fifteen (15) minutes.
12.Plan the amount of fuel needed for the operation of flight to be performed.
13.Meet the circular operations, which are issued by the Operations Department and the Chief Pilot, and keep the appropriate records.
14.Strictly comply with safety standards established by the company for various contracts in special operations.
15.Do not operate the aircraft in a careless or reckless with the manufacturer’s operating specifications.
16.Other roles and responsibilities of his office and those assigned by the company.
Education Required
•High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
•Current Pilot License. 
Experience Required: 
Pilot must have at least two thousand six hundred hours (2600) flight hours in helicopters of which one thousand (1000) hours must be as Co-pilot of MI 8 MTV, or 2600 flight hours in helicopters which 500 hours are as a pilot in twin-engine helicopters.
Special Knowledge/ Skills Required:
•Commercial and Instrument Airman’s Certificates Rotorcraft Helicopter; current Class I Medical Certificate required. 
•Qualification in assigned aircraft before or incident to assignment. 
•Must be able to provide Flight Records and be able to provide DA 759 Form or equivalent. 
•Possess or able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. 
•Spanish level 2+ proficiency desired, but not required.
•Attend and pass the company’s training program. 

Work Environment: 
•Employee will be required to work and live in a potentially hostile environment, at remote locations, and under austere conditions. 
•Employee may be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, under extreme weather conditions, within a hostile environment. 
•The individual may be exposed to extreme noise from aircraft, hostile fire, and other acts of aggression associated with this region. 
•Individuals may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and work in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, aircraft, and vehicles. 

Physical Demands: 
•Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours per day and sit for up to eight (8) hours per day. 
•Must possess physical dexterity and coordination to qualify for Federal Aviation Administration Commercial Pilot Certificate.
•Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. 
•Must be able to climb stairs. 
•Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print, maps, aeronautical charts, and weather charts. 
•Must be able to grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. 
•Must be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools. Must meet or exceed Federal Aviation Administration minimum visual acuity and hearing standards for Class II medical certificate. 
•Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet. 
•May be exposed to chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation. 
•May be required to lift up to 50 pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift up to 20 pounds to a height of seven (7) feet. 
•May be exposed to certain obstructions on the surface as well as ladders, stairs, etc. 
•May be exposed to rapid or extreme temperature changes. 
•May be required to meet Night Vision Goggle Vision Requirements: 20/100 near and FAR sight correctable to 20/20, be able to focus Night Vision Goggle at minimum distance of 20 feet.
