An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Pilot within our Helicopter Support Unit, Operational Support based in Carmarthenshire.

Applicants must meet the professional licensing requirements of the CAA, and in accordance with the requirements of the PAOM must have a minimum of 1500 hours flying time.  If you have substantial operational experience in police operations, low flying and/or commercial operations together with experience of managing staff within an aviation environment, and are computer literate and technologically competent to keep pace with developing operational equipment and new techniques, then we would like to hear from you. Applicants must have been resident in the UK for at least the past three years in order to be eligible to apply. The force’s aircraft is an Augusta 109E Power and experience with this aircraft is essential.
