Job Description:
Hillsboro Aviation is offering a pilot position for the B205A-1++ helicopter for experienced helicopter pilots with USFS/DOI Fire Suppression/Utility experience to join our team for the 2016 season. We have openings for full time seasonal pilots.
Requirements:Job Requirements:
Applicant must have been previously carded or capable of being carded for the 2016 season in the Bell 205A-1++ helicopter. By contract requirements, the applicant must have a minimum of 1,500 hours total time, 100 hours within the last 12 months, 50 hours total time in the Bell 205/UH-1H and 10 hours in the Bell 205/UH-1H within the last 12 months.
Qualifications/Licenses:
-Commercial Pilot or ATP Rotary Wing certificate
-Current Class II or Class I medical certificate

Preferred:
-Minimum 2,500 hours, 150 hours PIC in the Bell 205/UH-1H.
-Previous USFS/DOI fire/natural resource experience with PSD-Torch qualification.
-Recent vertical reference experience.
-Short Haul experience.
Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and be capable to climb on the aircraft to perform pre-flight and other pilot related duties. We offer a competitive wage with comprehensive benefits packages.
