Role Summary:

CHC has an opportunity for a Pilot to join our Emergency Medical Services work stream, based in Bunbury, Western Australia. This base conducts rescue and emergency aero medical service operations so will require an unique individual to fulfill the role. This is a permanent opportunity with our business and looking for an immediate start.

The minimum requirements for this role are as follows;

  • A valid ATPL(H)
  • A valid IR-C-ME(H) with minimum of 3 renewals
  • Current Hoist endorsement with appropriate experience
  • Current endorsement on B412 and have the ability to complete an B412 endorsement course to Captain standard
  • Low Flying approval
  • Sling load flying endorsement
  • NVIS rating
  • Night VFR rating
  • 3,000 flying hours in total
  • 2,000 flying hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) rotary wing
  • 1,000 flying hours on multi engine rotary wing
  • 200 flying hours night flying
  • 50 flying hours PIC on primary type aircraft

Skills and Experience:

  • SAR and or EMS flying experience including single pilot
  • Ability to work as a team player in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detailed and task oriented.
