    Responsible for the day-to-day operational duties associated with rotary-wing search and rescue (SAR) operations.


    Directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination of the flight.      

    Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities to include supporting and promoting the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety-related issues, and adhering to the processes related to accomplishing SMS goals.

    NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure cleanliness of company equipment such as aircraft, vehicles, offices, and living quarters. Submit accurate and complete expense reports. Maintain a professional, helpful, and congenial customer relation.

    • High School diploma or equivalent required with College Degree preferred
    • Must be willing to accept International assignments on a 28/28 rotation
    • Must have three years of previous SAR experience
    • Must have one year Gulf of Mexico experience
    • Must have 500 hours Maritime SAR experience   
    • Must have a minimum of 3000 hours rotary-wing total time
    • Must have 1500 hours of multi-engine time
    • Must have 1200 hours of multi-engine PIC time
    • Must have 250 hours of instrument time (100 actual instrument)
    • Must have 500 hours Maritime SAR experience   
    • Must have NVIS experience in SAR Operations and 200 hours of night unaided
    • Must have 150 Offshore Hoist with 50 at Night
    • Must be type rated and have 150 hours PIC in the S92 & AW139 performing SAR Operations
    • Must have previous night overwater hoisting experience
    • Must possess FAA ATPL(H)
    • Must possess and maintain a valid first class medical certificate
    • Must possess or able to obtain a current BOSIET
    • Must possess a TSA TWIC Card and U.S. Passport
    • Must be willing to work a 1 for 1 schedule - 14/14 domestic and 28/28 internationally
    • Arctic SAR Operational experience is preferred
    • SAR Operational experience within the last 12 months is preferred

    Before hiring or transferring to a safety sensitive function, individuals will be required to complete and pass a Post-Offer Physical Exam and a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.  Under DOT Guidelines, pre-employment drug testing will determine the presence of marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines, or a metabolite of those drugs in the individual's system.
