Job Description:

Starting greater than $100,000 with Maritime SAR experience

Directly responsible for all operations pertaining to the safe efficient conduct of the flight from initial dispatch until termination of the flight. Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities to include supporting and promoting the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety-related issues, and adhering to the processes related to accomplishing SMS goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 500 hours Maritime SAR experience in same or similar aircraft complexity
  • High School diploma or equivalent required with College Degree preferred
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Helicopter (ATP) Certificate, Rotorcraft-Helicopter, Instrument Helicopter
  • Possesses recent SAR/HAA operational experience within the last 12 months
  • Must have a minimum of 3000 hours total time and 100 hours PIC in type
  • Must have 1500 hours of multi-engine time with 500 hours in same or similar aircraft complexity
  • Must have 1200 hours of multi-engine PIC time in similarly complex aircraft
  • Must have 250 hours of instrument time (100 actual instrument)
  • Must have 150 hours offshore hoists / 50 night offshore hoists
  • Must have NVIS experience in SAR Operations and 200 hours of night unaided
  • Must be type rated and have 100 hours PIC in the AW-139 or SK-92 performing SAR/HAA Operations
  • Must possess a valid first class medical certificate and ability to maintain
  • Must possess or able to obtain a current BOSIET or CW/HUET equivalent certification
  • Must possess a TSA TWIC Card and U.S. Passport
  • Must be able to work in the US
  • Must be willing to accept International assignments on 28/28 rotation plus travel days
  • Two-year accident/violation free
  • Three years of previous SAR experience preferred
  • One year SAR experience in the Gulf of Mexico preferred
