B206/407/S76 Avionics Technician – Louisiana & Texas

RLC, LLC is currently accepting applications for an experienced Avionics Technician to maintain our fleet of Bell 206 B/L, Bell 407 and Sikorsky S-76 model helicopters in support of the oil and gas industry.  RLC operates air bases located along the Gulf Coast from Venice, LA to Galveston, TX.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • troubleshoot components using available documentation
  • navigate and operate PC based computer systems / programs.
  • read and understand all applicable FAR’s or required documentation and perform to required technical specifications.
  • solve routine problems independently and assist other technicians when required.
  • demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example and attitude
  • work independently and/or assist others
  • regularly perform to quality and reliability standards
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of five years recent experience in the repair of aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems of assigned aircraft
  • Airframe & Powerplant Certificate strongly preferred, Airframe certificate required.
Other Qualifications:  Must be able to work alternating 14/14 shift and travel to and from work location in a timely manner. May be required to work at locations other than assigned base including overnight travel offshore.
