As an integral part of our Nordic expansion plans, Østnes Helicopters have established a Part 145 at Eggemoen airport in Norway, just outside Hønefoss, one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen Airport.

The MRO center was officially approved by the Norwegian CAA in July 2020 and will also be an Airbus approved service provider. The center, which will be totally independent from the HC operators, is now operational and consist of a highly qualified and international team in new and up-to date facilities with a great location.

As per today, we offer services to light Airbus helicopters such as the AS350/ H125 with an aim to expand its services to eventually cover intermediate Airbus helicopters.

The Eggemoen team is not only vital in providing our customers with solutions to their technical needs. They are also acting as an important link between our customers and Airbus.

As we need to strengthen our maintenance team at Eggemoen, we are now looking for outstanding individuals who are triggered by being part of a slightly new approach to Helicopter maintenance in the Nordics. As such, and as a Østnes team member, you will be part of creating, molding and developing the future of Helicopter Maintenance.

Qualifications

You must hold an EASA Part-66 license with B1.3 rating on Airbus Helicopter AS350B3, have been working as a technician for minimum 3 years on line and base maintenance, have a proven customer focus attitude and be triggered by the opportunity to be part of this exiting venture. In addition, it would be regarded as an advantage if you have any previous experience on:

  • Airbus helicopters (H120, H130, H135)
  • Repair of composite materials
  • Sheet metal work
  • Avionics/Electrical (AML B2)

We will be able to offer relevant training, where we capitalize on our position as Approved Airbus Distributor.

We require a clean record, driving license, excellent English skills (oral and writing) and familiarity with IT applictions.
