Airframe/Powerplant Mechanic
JOB SUMMARY:
TechFlyte is a leading supplier of aeronautic professionals to premier aviation companies and is looking to hire top-rate A&P Mechanics in the Grand Prairie, TX area! These are contract positions offering benefits, teamwork, and a culture that is second to none.
AIRFRAME/POWERPLANT MECHANIC HIGHLIGHTS:
- Location: Grand Prairie, TX
- Duration: 90 Days – Temp to Perm
- Health, Dental, and Vision benefits offered
- Cash Advances offered (Must be on job for 3 days – $300/maximum)
Job Requirements:
AIRFRAME/POWERPLANT MECHANIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on recent experience on 2 different rotorcraft airframes – i.e – Bell, Airbus, or Agusta
- Must have experience on Airbus/Eurocopters
- Must have experience on EC135, EC145, AS350, AS355Prior experience on Leonardo helicopters is a plus
- Must have a basis knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and FAA documentation
- Must be familiar with researching and using information from the appropriate maintenance manual, wiring diagrams, and FAA documentation to perform necessary tasks to maintain the aircraft in airworthy condition
- Must possess basic computer skills using the english language
- Prior experience with flight line and track and balance experience is preferred
- Must have own tools
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check, and be in compliance with all FAA rules and regulations
AIRFRAME/POWERPLANT MECHANIC EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A&P License
