Quality Assurance Manager Operations – United Arab Emirates

We are looking for Quality Assurance Manager (Operations) to join our Quality Assurance (Operations) team. The Quality Assurance Manager (Operations) / Post Holder is responsible to the Accountable Manager for the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). The main responsibilities of the role are to implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) program and to integrate, so far as is practicable, the Quality Management System through continuous review and Auditing processes, Quality processes such as Internal Audits, Risk Assessments, Suppliers and Product Audits, Employee Training and Feedback, Incident and Accident Reporting and Investigations in line with current legislation and best practice. Moreover, to instill a professional compliance system as per the approved Regulations and Standards.

Required candidate profile:

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aviation
• IRCA/ISO 9001:2015 (or later) Lead Auditor accreditation (or equivalent)
• Acceptable to GCAA as Quality Assurance (Operations) Post Holder
• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience which will include 5 years’ aviation Quality Assurance experience, 3 years experience with Auditing, 2 years’ practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation regulatory standards
• Strong Knowledge of:
  1. The UAE Air Legislation (UAE CAR AIROPS, EU OPS)
  2. Operational systems such as Leon, AIMS, PPS, Q Pulse any other Ops applications
  3. Quality Management systems
  4. Mass and balance theory and practices
  5. Auditing skills
  6. Risk Assessment Skills
  7. Safety Management systems
  8. TNA and acceptance of training requirements
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written)

Desirable Criteria

• Accident Investigation Course
• Previously held an approved Postholder position
• Experience on Q-pulse
• Immediate availability.
