Job Description:

NorthStar Helicopters is seeking a Chief Pilot responsible for managing a team of pilots for Glacier Tours, Heliskiing, Charter, Fire, and other government field work. Chief pilot reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Authorized to exercise Operational Control of the company. Directs all training activities and maintains proficiency records, flight schedules and correspondence pertaining to operations activities.

Designates, trains and qualifies instructor pilots for training. Remains a qualified PIC in the AS350.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
  • Must possess at minimum a current class 2 medical certificate
  • Must meet Part 119 / 135 requirements to be a Chief Pilot
  • Must be willing to relocate to Juneau Alaska
  • Previous Chief Pilot experience preferred but not required
  • Previous AS350 experience required
  • Salary based on experience
