Job Description:
Hillcrest Aircraft Company has openings for a Full Time and Seasonal Helicopter Mechanics. Our goal is to provide our Customers with a Safe, High Quality, Compliant, and Productive aviation service. The way to accomplish this goal is with well-trained team members. Duties include performing field and heavy maintenance on Bell Medium and Light helicopters. Hillcrest is a utility helicopter operator, FAA Part 145 Repair Station, and Bell Service Center located in Central Idaho. We contract helicopter services to the USFS, BLM, State Agencies, and private companies. These operations include wildland firefighting, prescribed fire, and various types of project work. With these operations, mechanics are required to travel and spend numerous days out in the field supporting the helicopter during fire season. The average fire season is June thru September. During the off-season, full-time mechanics are required to work at the home base to conduct heavy maintenance on the aircraft. There are overtime opportunities as off-season project work becomes available.

Job Requirements:
- Be Customer Service Orientated
- Be a team player
- Be a licensed A&P Mechanic for at least 1 year
- Be willing to travel and work in field conditions on a seasonal basis
- Be willing to relocate to the main base in Lewiston, ID
- Bell Helicopter medium and light experience preferred
- Bell Helicopter Factory Training will be provided
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License or be willing to obtain
- Computer skills using PC-based programs are a plus
