Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operations Department for an Aircrew Resource Co-ordinator.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Responsible for the publication and dissemination of the Next Day’s Flying Programme.

  • Collate Client’s flight requirements for next day;
  • Liaise with Engineering to determine aircraft availability;
  • Match revenue flights to aircraft and identify slots available for training or additional flight requirements;
  • Review roster to determine pilots on duty and expected duty & flight time limitations;
  • Assign pilots to the flights IAW with regulatory and client specific requirements;
  • Manage any shortfall of pilots due to sickness/training etc.;
  • Ensure all training requirements met IAW Training Plan;
  • Publish draft programme & attend the programme review meeting daily;
  • Communicating roster and daily changes to crew at publication of final schedule. Publish next days flying programme within deadline and handover to Operations.

Other duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Roster amendments;
  • Continuous monitoring and management of flight hour totals;
  • Coordination of VIP & Special flight requests;
  • Assistance to Operations to mitigate any shortfall in daily crewing;
  • Forward planning the next weeks programme IAW regulatory & client rules;
  • Holiday relief for Aircrew & Flight Scheduler.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills, and experience)

Qualifications:

  • IT Computer Literate, Aviation experience preferred but not essential.

Experience:

  • Analytical, Organisational Skills, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Confidentiality, Patient. Demonstrates desire to improve / update processes & working practices.

Skills:

  • Excellent Communication Skills, MS Excel, MS Word.
