Job Description:

The Fire Operations Pilot position is a seasonal position from June to September. This position has a 12/12 day rotation with paid travel. Fire Operations Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of rotary wing aircraft in fire suppression activities, including external load operations and personnel transport. The Pilot (PIC) is the ON-SITE Safety Leader and liaison for any and all safety issues and communication with Contracting Representative.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Pilot Certificate
  • Current FAA Medical Certificate
  • 2000 hour minimum flight time in rotary wing
  • 150 hours minimum flight time in Bell Medium
  • Previous Fire Experience
  • 133 (External Load) Certification Experience
  • Maintain all licenses to comply with regulatory agencies
  • Ability to travel to other jobs and base locations
  • Lift containers weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Clean driving record
  • Drug screening and background check pass
  • Willingness and desire to work overtime hours during contract seasons
  • Must be willing to be on the road and away from home for up to several weeks at a time

Salary Range:
70,000/season-80,000/season
