Due to expansion we currently have vacancies for full-time and part-time Theoretical Knowledge Instructors (TKI’s) to provide technical ground instruction for all ATPL(H)/IR integrated, modular residential courses at our Leicester and Oxford bases.

Helicentre Aviation is a leading provider of professional helicopter pilots to industry, offering exciting career development opportunities for Helicopter Flight Instructors and commercial pilots. We require applicants for positions within the ATO (Approved Training Organisation) to demonstrate a range of positive behaviours and attitudes, as well as a high level of knowledge and skill. Our selection process is designed to identify these qualities and assess applicants against the required competencies.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have experience instructing for the CPL or ATPL theoretical knowledge examinations or be subject matter experts in a specific field. Teaching experience or a teaching qualification is essential. It would be advantageous to have experience providing instruction for the helicopter specific subjects as well as those common to rotary and fixed-wing, subject dependent. Applicants who specialise in only one or two subjects will be considered for part-time contracted roles.

Salary
Contracted on daily rates for part-time roles and commensurate with experience. Full-time positions may be offered if skill set, availability, and suitability lends itself to a permanent position. Progression opportunities to Deputy Chief TKI may be possible for the right candidate.

Immediate (subject dependent) or in line with the teaching schedule
