Lead/Maintenance Co-ordinator Rotary Wing AME Whitecourt Position
Airborne Energy Solutions Inc. is an aviation charter company that provides fixed wing and rotary wing transportation services and solutions for the oil, gas, forestry, and mining industries in Western Canada. AES is looking for a Lead/Maintenance Co-ordinator Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for our Whitecourt Alberta operation. The Lead/Maintenance Co-ordinator Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and managing all maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient and on time delivery of maintenance to meet operational demands. The position is Full-time, Permanent. Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Supervise, manage, and lead the Helicopter Maintenance Team
• Maintain company aircraft and related equipment, ensuring airworthiness and optimal operational performance
• Co-ordinate with Operational managers on maintenance requirements
• Communicate regularly with the PRM to ensure the highest level of compliance is maintained at all times
• Ensure adherence to standard procedures by maintenance personnel.
Required Qualifications:
· Valid Transport Canada AME M1/M2 Maintenance Engineer License
· Experience on Bell 206B, Robinson R44, Airbus AS350 (H125) Arriel 1+2 and LTS 101, Bell 204/205
· Relevant management or supervisory experience
· Flexible attitude
· Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
· Excellent team player
· Valid class 5 driver’s license
· Reside within 50 km radius of the Whitecourt Airport
· A strong command of the English language, both verbal and written
· Good understanding of technical data
· Able to supervise Apprentices and Engineers.
