**$10,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE**
The AH-64D Instructor Pilot (IP) serves as a Standardization Pilot (SP) in support of the 302 Squadron of the Royal Netherlands military as part of the Security Forces Assistance (SFA) Foreign Military Training program at Fort Hood, TX. The AH-64D IP works with the SQN Chief Pilot and S3 Air to develop the AH Flight projects, timeline, and workload required to meet the overall objectives within the resources available. The AH-64D IP helps coordinate all required training tasks, resolves any issues, and works with others, as necessary to achieve the established objectives. The AH-64D IP keeps the SQN Chief Pilot and S3 Air informed on progress and potential issues.

Job Requirements:

Must have over 1500 IP/SP hours in AH-64D/E.
12 years’ experience in military planning, operations, and training.
Graduate of an advanced warrant officer military training course, AH-64D advanced flight training, AH-64D Master Gunner course, AH-64D IP course, and Instrument Examiners (IE) course.
Battalion level or higher staff experience required.
OIF/OEF experience desired.
Experience in Air Assault Operations desired.
Within nine months of hiring, must be able to complete all requirements to receive a Dutch military aviation license with a Type Rating of Instructor / Evaluator.
Must have Security Clearance.
Must have comprehensive knowledge, expertise, and experience in order to perform tasks related to:
Mission Order Production.
Plan and execute resource management objectives, through the use of resource management planning tools and web-based programs.
Ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn and use Portable Flight Planning Software.

Job Summary

 

The Pilot, Rotary Wing safely operates aircraft in support of missions that may involve the transport of passengers and/or cargo as well as medical evacuation flights and security missions.  Participates in training and performs both single and multi-ship support missions in aircraft during day, night, and night vision goggle (NVG) missions; primarily under visual and instrument meteorological conditions.  Complies with all customer and program standardization directives, aircrew training manuals (ATM), and aircrew training program (ATP) requirements.

 

Principal Accountabilities

(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract)

  • Fly both single and multi-ship day, night, and night vision goggle (NVG) missions; primarily under visual and instrument meteorological conditions.
  • Required to maintain NVG currency and instrument proficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all program standardization directives, aircrew training manuals, and ATP requirements.
  • Transport passengers and/or cargo to include other missions as directed.
  • Perform rated crewmember duties in accordance with ATP requirements.
  • Plan and perform loading and unloading activities, compute the center-of-gravity position and ensure it is within prescribed limits at all times.
  • Ensure the passenger and cargo compartments are properly configured for each mission.
  • Verifies and maintains manifests for cargo and/or personnel.
  • Ensure cargo and passengers are properly restrained and confirm security as required.
  • Must be able to qualify for Pilot-in-Command (PC) status at the culmination of initial training and maintain PC status at all times thereafter.
  • Perform aircraft and ground servicing and training duties including fueling operations, aircraft configuration changes as assigned and required.
  • May be assigned duties as PC, IP, MP, SP, ME or Lead Pilot as qualified, and perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Qualification in assigned aircraft before or incident to assignment (multi engine or single engine as assigned).
  • Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of aircraft systems, components, and operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA and ICAO regulations pertinent to operational requirements.
  • Documented completion of a manufacturer’s course of instruction, military flight training or a DoS program of instruction in designated aircraft.
  • Possess a current US passport or the ability to obtain one before assignment.
  • Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel highly desired.
  • Individual must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
  • A current DoD Secret Security Clearance is preferred.

REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2,000 total flight hours, including 1000 hours of turbine helicopter time.
  • Minimum 300 hours night vision goggle (NVG) helicopter time.
  • FAA Commercial and Instrument Airman’s Certificate Helicopter or military equivalent.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

HIGHLY DESIRED

  • Airline transport pilot (ATP) rating (heavy lift – add unrestricted type rating).
  • Recent experience in high mountain/desert and tactical operations.
  • College degree.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours per day and sit for up to eight (8) hours per day.
  • Must be able to perform rated crewmember duties during mission operations.
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
  • Must be able to routinely climb/descend stairs.
  • Must be able to read and interpret newspaper and typewritten print, maps, aeronautical charts, and weather charts.
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above/below shoulders.
  • Must be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
  • Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift up to 20 pounds to a height of seven (7) feet.
  • Potential for exposure to hostile fire in this region is high.
  • Individual must be able to travel to and between remote locations in austere and/or hostile environments.
  • May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.
  • May be exposed to fumes, gas, airborne particles, chemical mist, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation.
  • May be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles or aircraft.

Travel

  • Travel to and between CONUS and OCONUS locations as requested is required.

Duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

Job Description:
ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Test Pilot to support Aviation Field and Sustainment Level Maintenance on MH-47 rotary wing aircraft as part of our Contractor Field Team. This position is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
  • The Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) will be proficient in flying operations of the MH-47 rotary wing helicopters for which they are assigned and will need to possess a current valid Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • MTPs shall be aircraft qualified and shall perform aircrew duties IAW applicable -10 manuals, USASOAC Aircrew Training Manuals in support of Maintenance Test Flights, Functional Test Flights, Evaluation Flights, Currency Flights, Ground Runs for related requirements requiring operation of the aircraft systems, as approved by the Government Flight Representative.
  • The MTP will provide in-progress assistance to contractor and/or government maintenance personnel regarding problems detected during maintenance procedures.
Job Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will possess an instrument rating on their FAA commercial Certificate; have successfully completed US Army Aircraft Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC) Phase I/II; and will have flown a minimum of 50 flight hours performing MTP duties.
  • Aviators previously qualified in US Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC) MDS aircraft highly preferred.The MTP shall undergo and successfully complete, initially and annually thereafter, a Second Class Flight Physical Medical Certification.
  • The MTP shall undergo an initial and annual flight evaluation conducted IAW AR 95-1 and all appropriate ATM tasks, and must pass initial, and maintain currency IAW USASOAC and 160th Regimental Tactical Operation Procedures, the Naval Class II Swim test, Dunker, and Emergency Breathing System (EBS) Device.
  • Must possess an FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Work is subject to performance on weekends and holidays, days and nights as required.

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Job Description

MAG Aerospace seeks exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as UH-60A/L Instructor Pilots (IP), Lead/Standardization Pilots (SP), and/or Advisers/Mentors to support Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) operations in Kandahar, Afghanistan.    Instructor pilots will provide classroom and in-flight instruction in UH-60A/L aircraft recently provided to the Afghan Air Force.

Job Requirements
  • U.S. citizen
  • Five plus (5+) years’ experience as IP
  • Previous theater experience (deployed to anywhere in CENTCOM AOR)
  • Have recent experience (within 5 years) training partner nation forces
  • Have an FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and the appropriate category and class ratings with no less than 1000 hours PIC time
  • Qualified as a US Army UH-60 A/L Instructor Pilot
  • Current Class II Flight Physical
  • Medically, psychologically, and physically fit for duty in Afghanistan

To be considered for additional duties/incentive pay must possess the following:

Lead/Chief Instructor Pilot

  • One plus (1+) years’ experience managing OCONUS programs, training, and oversight for projects of similar size and scope
  • Three plus (3+) years’ experience as a Standardization IP with a comparable level of responsibility

  • ALSE Technician certificate from recognized school
  • Three plus (3+) years’ experience as ALSE Technician
