The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Captain to join our team on a casual basis to work across both our Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg bases.

Pay and conditions are in accordance with the LifeFlight Australia Limited and Rotary Wing Pilots Certified Agreement 2016-2019 Work Practice 1.

About You
In support of our strong safety culture, minimum qualifications and experience limitations apply. To be eligible you must have the following:

Minimum requirements:

  • CPL(H)
  • Type Rating (B412) with 100 hours on type
  • CIR ME with minimum 3 renewals (IPCs)
  • NVFR(H)
  • Minimum 3000 hours turbine rotary wing
  • 1500 hours PIC rotary wing
  • 500 hours PIC ME turbine rotary wing
  • 100 hours Instrument Flight
  • 100 hours Night Unaided
  • NVIS Rating
  • HUET/EBS Certified
  • Class 1 Medical
  • Live within 30 minutes travel time of the Sunshine Coast or Bundaberg base

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous EMS/SAR experience
  • ATPL(H)

Strong communication skills, professionalism and a quest to achieve and maintain the highest level of competency within aero medical operations are essential to the role.
