About the role
For more than 30 years, Babcock Australasia’s Pilots have been keeping communities safe across Australia.
We are currently seeking interest for a qualified Multi-Engine Pilot to support our Aviation & Critical Services team. The opportunity is for an AW139 Line Pilot at our Warrnambool base.
Babcock MCS operates at several bases throughout Victoria in support of Ambulance Victoria.
As this is a Fixed Base position, successful applicants will be required to reside within a reasonable distance of the nominated base. It is also a requirement for the successful applicant to be able to support operational needs across all AV bases.

The successful candidate must satisfy the following contract minimum qualifications and experience:
- CASA ATPL
- Class 1 Medical
- Instrument Rating with MEH endorsement and minimum 3 renewals
- 2500+ hrs total helicopter
- 1500+ hrs PIC helicopter
- 500+ hrs PIC MEH, not including ICUS
- 250+ hrs instrument flying time
- 100+ hrs night PIC
- AW139 type rating and 100+ hrs experience on type
- NVIS rating
- Low-level rating with winch endorsement
- Prior EMS/SAR operational experience preferred
