Toll Helicopters is Australia’s premier provider of specialised helicopter services to clients including NSW Ambulance and the Australian Army. With extensive experience in helicopter maintenance, operations and training, our staff are some of the most highly experienced and well-trained aviation professionals in the country.

Located at Bankstown Airport, the ACE Training Centre is a purpose build facility, incorporating state-of-the-art simulation that includes a Level D AW139 Full Flight Simulator. Toll is the sole Leonardo Helicopters Authorised Training Centre for Oceania.

Job Description

Reporting to the FE Manager and HOTAC, you will join a specialised team dedicated to providing world-class training and standardisation to our contract Aircrew as well as third party personnel and Australian Defence Force Pilots and Aircrewmen. The role is available as a fixed base or touring position.

On completion of the company line training and standardisation package you will also maintain operational flying recency through regular operational shifts.

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ATPL (H)
  • CASA Class 1 Medical
  • Flight Instructor Rating, preferably with TR AW139, IFR and NVIS, or CASA recognition of ADF instructional qualifications (61-2ADF)
  • NVIS Grade 1
  • Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating with minimum 3 x renewals
  • Low Level Rating (H) with Winch
  • 2500hrs helicopter
  • 1500hrs PIC turbine helicopter
  • 500hrs PIC M/E helicopter
  • 100hrs PIC AW139
  • Single Pilot HEMS/SAR experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Management / Leadership experience
